Welcome to

About ...
I have held many roles throughout my career in education and mental health, including school social worker, behavior specialist, residential therapist, and classroom teacher. I suppose I have always been interested in understanding the larger interconnected picture in an attempt to more fully support students and families. In that pursuit, I have worked across public schools, child welfare, juvenile detention, early childhood education, and clinical settings. But my most precious role came when I became a mother of two amazing boys.
When my youngest was born with a rare genetic condition, my professional and personal worlds collided. At the time, there were fewer than 200 known cases in the world of his genetic condition, Coffin-Siris syndrome. I found myself searching for better ways to support complex developmental, medical, and educational needs while trying to protect quality of life for our family. My little one was fighting so incredibly hard for a chance to live this life and I was determined to make it one worth fighting for. Forty plus hours each week spent in therapies, doctor appointments, on top of educational demands, was not it.
To be honest, nothing I had learned in textbooks or graduate programs was working, and many of the professionals we were working with felt the same. Sometimes gifts are found when you need them most, and one of the greatest gifts was stumbling into homeschooling and the freedom it gave us to try new things, to think completely outside of the box, and truly individualize support in ways traditional systems could not.
It was through this journey that Everybody’s Academics began to emerge. I needed to be home with my family but I also wanted to share all that I was learning and building for my son with others. I kept working privately with a small group of former students and EBA started to grow along with us.
Through both my professional work and my experience raising a beautifully neurodiverse family, I have developed an approach that seeks to integrate services while recognizing and supporting the whole student, not focusing solely on one challenge or isolated piece of who they are. My services and areas of specialization are designed to support and recognize a wide range of needs, strengths, learning styles, and ways of experiencing the world.
I deeply believe that learning and development are inseparable from mental health, physical health, and neurology, all of which shape how a person learns and grows. To make the greatest impact, we need to understand the full picture and serve the many unique and interconnected parts of the whole person. Despite starting out to help just my son and children like him, the biggest lesson learned was that these principles are true for all learners, at every age and stage of life.
My work focuses on supporting the whole person through an interconnected, wellness centered, strengths based approach. I strive to create individualized, flexible support that nurtures not only skill development, but also joy, confidence, curiosity, and quality of life.

How Can I Help?
Integrated, whole-person support for learners, families, and professionals across school, home, and life.
Why Choose EBA?
Whole Person Support
What makes Everybody’s Academics different is our integrated, whole person approach built on holistic expertise and services across multiple areas of support. We know that challenges and growth in one area of life often affect many others.
Rather than separating needs into disconnected pieces, we bring knowledge from a wide range of specialties and offer a broad range of supports and services because we recognize how deeply interconnected and critically intertwined these areas truly are. Disjointed services often miss the larger picture and fail to fully recognize the complexity of an individual’s strengths, challenges, needs, and overall functioning.
When support is fragmented, important patterns, connections, and unmet needs are often overlooked. Students may experience repeated gaps in care, overlapping services, increased stress, higher costs, and the constant pressure of running from one appointment to another. Too often, the focus becomes centered on fixing challenges rather than recognizing and building upon strengths. Over time, this can leave students and families feeling overwhelmed and defeated, creating a life centered around constantly “managing needs” rather than truly living.
By offering interconnected services and individualized strength based approaches, EBA strives to provide effective support that feels more natural, seamless, and meaningful for learners and families.
Strengths-Based, Interest-Led Approach
Sessions are engaging, interactive, and individualized, incorporating play, interests, strengths, and meaningful connection to support growth and progress. Instruction is guided by ongoing assessment and observation, allowing support to remain responsive and aligned with each learner’s evolving needs over time. Neurodiversity affirming approaches help support the needs of all learners, both neurotypical and neurodivergent.
Learning and childhood itself should not feel stressful all the time, and learning at any age should be fun. Instead of prioritizing skill development at the expense of mental health and well being, we seek to provide services that recognize the importance of balance, connection, and quality of life. At the heart of EBA is the belief that joy, play, and fun can coexist with proven educational practices and informed approaches.
Support Across Every Stage of a Learner’s Developmental Journey
From early learners to college students and beyond, EBA provides thoughtful, individualized support across every stage of development and learning. More than 80% of our families have been with us for 3+ years, as services seek to grow and evolve with the student and their needs.
Expanding
EBA is currently expanding in order to grow our services and better support the needs of both our current families and those on our waitlist.
